Promy Ad
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Promy Ad helps users create, upload, and schedule image or video posts for Facebook and Instagram accounts they connect through Meta authorization. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can contact us.
Information We Collect
When you sign in, we use your authentication account information, such as your username, email, and Cognito user identifier. When you connect Meta, we receive information authorized by Meta, including Facebook Pages you manage, related Instagram professional account identifiers, usernames, granted permissions, and access tokens required to publish content.
When you use Promy Ad, we may store uploaded media URLs, captions, scheduling details, selected destination accounts, publishing status, and operational logs needed to run the service.
Usage Analytics
We record basic usage activity so we can understand how the site is used and improve it: the pages you visit, the buttons and links you select, the page that referred you, how long you spend on a page and how far down it you scroll, your device type and operating system, your browser type, your screen width, your language preference, and a visit identifier stored in your browser for the length of that visit. If you are signed in, this activity is associated with your username.
To understand which regions our visitors come from, we record an approximate location. This is derived from your browser's time zone setting, not from your IP address and not from any device location service. A time zone identifies a broad region, so the city shown in our reports is the time zone's main city rather than where you actually are.
We do not store your full IP address. Your address is truncated before it is saved, so that only the surrounding network is retained rather than an address that identifies your specific device. We do not use cookies for this analytics data, and we do not track you across other websites. We use this data only in aggregate and for troubleshooting; we do not sell it, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How We Use Information
We use this information to authenticate users, connect Facebook and Instagram accounts, generate upload URLs, queue or schedule posts, publish to selected Meta accounts, show account management features, measure and improve how the product is used, and troubleshoot service issues.
Meta Permissions
Promy Ad requests Meta permissions only for features users choose to enable. These may include viewing managed Facebook Pages, reading Page metadata, managing Page posts, reading Instagram professional account information, and publishing Instagram content. We do not ask for access to personal Facebook profiles for publishing.
Sharing and Storage
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Promy Ad, such as AWS, Cognito, S3, and Meta APIs. Access tokens are stored server-side and are not exposed to the browser.
Data Removal
You may request removal of connected account data or uploaded content by contacting us. You can also revoke Promy Ad access from your Meta account settings. After revocation, Promy Ad can no longer publish to those accounts unless you reconnect them. See our User Data Deletion instructions for request steps and timing.
Security
We use authentication, role-based access controls, HTTPS, and server-side token storage to protect account access. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to the information required for Promy Ad features.
